You are invited to a digital humanities and scholarship event at Helmke Library on October 5

The day will include brief presentations, panel discussions, and workshops covering topics including: metadata, social networking, data visualization, digital collections, digital project management, animation, incorporating digital projects in classes and challenges of assessing digital scholarship. A presentation of note is on the Saint Giorgio’s Castle project. Associate Professor Andres Montenegro and Professor Audrey Ushenko are recreating Saint Giorgio’s Castle frescos in the lower level of Helmke and adding “trigger spots” that interact with mixed reality devices to show augmentation.

The event is FREE and a light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration is online at: http://midwest2018.thatcamp.org/register/
